Instructions
-
1Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
2Season and bake the walleye
Season the walleye pieces with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper, and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until fully cooked.
-
3Make the cilantro lime sauce
While the walleye is baking, prepare the cilantro lime sauce. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, cilantro, honey, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
-
4Make the slaw
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
-
5Warm the tortillas
Heat the tortillas in a skillet over medium heat until warm and pliable.
-
6Assemble and serve
Assemble the tacos by placing some of the cooked walleye on a warm tortilla, then topping with a generous amount of the cilantro lime slaw. Serve immediately.
